In our commitment to a culture of healthcare quality beyond our walls, Northwell Health has established a Patient Safety Organization (PSO).
True North Patient Safety Organization, Inc. (True North PSO) will offer Northwell-affiliated and -unaffiliated organizations with the opportunity to embark on a robust error reduction and quality improvement program with the greatest assurance that the information generated by that effort will remain confidential.
True North PSO’s mission is to provide participants a confidential and legally protected environment where they can report, analyze, and learn from patient safety events. PSO seeks to transform individual patient safety experiences into collective knowledge, aiming to identify systemic vulnerabilities and share insights that can prevent similar events from occurring elsewhere across the PSO.
